The inspiration for Bloomy Umbrellas struck our founder, Cloe Mckenzie, on a rainy day in Melbourne. As the rain began to fall, she noticed a sea of umbrellas opening all around her, resembling flowers blooming in the rain. This moment of beauty sparked an idea: why not create umbrellas that not only perform brilliantly but also bring a splash of brightness to grey, rainy days?
Cloe was also frustrated by the lack of high-quality options in the market. Compact umbrellas were often flimsy and unreliable, while sturdy umbrellas were too bulky to fit into her work bag. Determined to solve this problem, she combined the best of both worlds, creating Bloomy Umbrellas: the perfect blend of strength, durability, and portability.
